Article Summary

Besides adding candidates by scheduling a test moment (see article Plan a test moment) tests can also be taken by creating registrations. This method is mainly used when organizations administer tests from other software, which is linked to RemindoTest.

A subscription is a link

  • of one or more candidates to a test matrix;
  • of one or more test templates to a candidate.

Entries are displayed in the scheduling overview with a yellow triangle in the calendar when an active period is scheduled when the entry is available. When availability is set to "immediately and always available" or "inactive" (this is an enrollment that is scheduled without a specific date(s)), the enrollment will not be visible in the calendar. By the way, a subscription never shows up in the schedule list (below the calendar).

Creating an enrollment can be done in three ways: through Studies and blueprints, through Candidates or through Manage > Candidates. These are explained below.

1. Studies and blueprints

At the top of the overview, click on Studies and blueprints. Here you can find an overview of the studies and blueprints in the test player. Use the filters to find the right blueprint. Then click on the magnifying glass to see the details of the blueprint.

On the left is a block called 'Options'. With the option 'Create new registrations for other candidates for this blueprint' candidates can be linked to this blueprint.

Select the candidates and confirm the selection at the bottom of the page using the action menu. Then set the options of the subscription. If the current entries of this blueprint need to be changed, click on the option "Change entries on this blueprint for all candidates" and specify what needs to be changed in the pop-up screen.
For an explanation of these settings, see the article Subscription Settings.

2. Candidates

Click on Candidates at the top of the overview. Using the filters, locate the appropriate candidate and click on the 'Show candidate information' option. A new page will open with an overview of the subscriptions. To the left is a block called 'Options'.

The option 'Enroll this candidate on new blueprints' allows blueprints to be associated with the candidate. The option 'Modify the subscriptions of all blueprint of this candidate' allows all current enrollments of this candidate to be modified at the same time. If the registration of a single blueprint needs to be modified, click on the magnifying glass of the blueprint. From here the steps are the same as in point 1.

Then select the correct blueprint in the search list using filters. At the bottom of this page, click the "Go" button to change the settings for the test. For an explanation of these settings, see the article Subscription Settings.

3. Management > Candidates

This option is only visible to administrator roles.

Through Manage > Candidates, candidates can be searched for. Click on the right side of the screen at a user on 'Profile of this user'. A new screen will appear with Options on the left, click there on 'View registrations of this candidate'. From this point on, the steps are the same as point 2.
