Samenvatting van het artikel

Redistribute correction work

A created correction round can be changed afterwards. This can be done via any way a correction round is created, e.g. from the planning or via the overview at Results > Correction rounds.

Figure 3

The image above shows an example the overview of current correction rounds at a test time. It shows at a glance which settings are enabled or disabled. The review status shows how many questions are still being reviewed, how many are pending and how many have already been submitted. There are two buttons on the right-hand side. The rightmost button deactivates that particular correction round, as shown in the bottom row. Thereby, you can choose to re-enable it or archive it completely. The latter option removes the correction round from this overview.

Click the green button under the 'Options' column to edit the correction round. A pop-up window will open.

The button for adding a proofreader will be replaced by the 'Reassign' button. Click this to make a new selection.

If a change is made and the adjusted review distribution is saved, the above message appears. If a choice is made not to redistribute, all current correction work remains linked to the previously set correctors. The correction work that becomes available from the moment of the change will be allocated according to the new distribution. It may also be that only the settings have been changed and not the distribution. So in that case, no redistribution needs to be done.

In addition, there are two options. 'Only not assessed' applies the new institutions to correction work that has not yet been assessed. 'All not submitted' is assessed but not yet submitted, so there is the possibility of adjustment here.

Attention!
Once correction work has been submitted, it is no longer possible to redistribute.

Assign corrections

From the corrections rounds overview, via Results > Corrections rounds, candidates and linked tutors can be viewed. This page shows an overview of all candidates, along with the supervisor linked to the result. When in the correction round each linked supervisor is set to be allowed to check and checking has not yet started, the column 'Assigned to' will be empty.

A candidate name may appear one or more times in the overview. This has to do with the set review distribution of the correction round. If a division is made per test matrix line, the overview shows all questions to be checked for this candidate on a new line. The column 'Question code/characteristic' then displays the information about the specific question.

The column 'Correction round details' briefly shows the settings of the correction round, such as the set deadline. The status column shows, among other things, whether the correction round has already started or whether the correction work has already been submitted.

Assign correction work to another proofreader

This page contains another important function, namely being able to assign corrections to another supervisor. It may happen that a proofreader has started proofreading but falls ill, for example. Someone else will then have to continue.

By using the filters, the correction work to be moved can be selected. Then, at the bottom of the page, the 'Change assigned supervisor' action can be selected. Here a different supervisor can be selected and this supervisor will be able to continue reviewing. In this case, the first corrector's previous correction work is taken to the next corrector. The latter can thus continue where the other one left off. Of course, it is also possible to adjust corrections already made.
